Steve Vassallo

Steve is a senior finance professional with more than 35 years’ experience across banking, finance, and business management, specialising in commercial real estate development and construction within both the private and corporate sectors.

He is currently General Manager, Business Banking, Sales and Service at Unity Bank, where he also serves on the Operational Risk Management Committee (ORMC), Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO), and Credit Risk Management Committee (CRMC).

Steve’s career includes 12 years of senior secondments with NAB across Sydney and Melbourne, along with an extended period consulting to businesses through multiple directorships, supporting growth, scale, and risk management initiatives.

He is a Fellow of FINSIA, a member of the MFAA, GAICD, and a Justice of the Peace (NSW). Steve holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Applied Finance.
